Dangerous Path
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by Barry Cook at 08:45, Sun 30 November 2008
Sent to Leeds City Council 4 minutes later
The path between Sir George Martin Drive and Mulberry Rise is uneven across the manholes but the whole is covered in moss and is very slippery in wet cold weather. Other paths in the area have recently been cleaned and resurfaced but this one was not. An accident waiting to happen due to poor lighting on this path.

Updates
Council did not respond within the time frame they promised but following further reminder have said they will complete within 5 working days. Will add further updates in due course.
Temporary repairs made to tarmac around manholes but no action on moss. Action promised on lighting but long time scale.
After further reminders Highways promised action within 14 days on 29th January but still no action on the moss although covered in snow for some time.
Street Lighting now being installed today. Strange that the two most difficult problems have been dealt with but no-one can be bothered with the simple task of removing the moss in nearly 3 months.
Well its now 6 months since I reported it and nothing has been completed. The new lamp was installed but never worked. Having reported it twice they arrived this week, dug a hole and then left.
All the pavements nearby have been resurfaced but they ignored this path so we still have the moss and no doubt more problems with the tarmac when they fill the hole in.
