Interminable noise and air pollution

Reported by Richard Melville Ballerand at 14:17, Sat 29 November 2008
Sent to Kensington and Chelsea Borough Council 2 minutes later

Longstanding major works for new building at 24 Christchurch St with new double level basements and geothermal heating. Disruptive to neighbours - several boundary walls abruptly destroyed. This supposedly 'Green development' has been causing both noise and air pollution since June and may go on for another year. Original building in this conservation area demolished in the months before. I am amazed that this was ever passed by the Council.

I was contacted by the Council apparently they have had many complaints about this development.

At this point awaiting notification of when the work is expected to be done.

The Council is addressing matters but officers have been dilatory with dealing with this development which was slyly proposed and approved bit by bit.
