Raw sewage leaking onto public highway.

Sent to Caradon District Council and Cornwall Council 1 minute later

When the weather is wet excess water accumulates at the top of Talland Hill and there is a very strong smell of sewage. It appears to be coming from the wall on the left handside of the lane (as you stand at the junction looking down the lane).

I received an email from Cornwall County Council saying that they were aware of the problem. They said that it was caused by a septic tank being overloaded, which they said was being rectified by installing another septic tank. Up to date though I have not seen any work being carried out, but I can't recall experiencing the smell recently.
