A long stretch of Rainow Road is in very poor condition due to sinking of road excations carried out by Cable and Wireless (now Virgin) a number of years ago. It has been my intention to report the very poor condition of this stretch of road for a long time. It has come to a head when my car has now failed its MOT for front steering joints and I have no doubt that this road (I travel it a number of times a day) has contributed to the disrepair of my car.
