Large part of road badly breaking up!
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 10:14, Wed 10 April 2013
Sent to Plymouth City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 346136.
This junction of Underlane and Furzehatt Road ALL the way past the junction of Furzehatt Road and Goosewell Road takes a lot of traffic. It is now very badly broken up. The road surface is uneven and pot holes are occuring. This is where school children are crossing and therefore is more of a concern to me. Pedestrians may trip or turn over on their ankles when crossing thus having the potential for a traffic accident. The road surface is so bad it probably affects bikes and cars using it. It is regularly used by buses and therefore is deteriorating rapidly!

Some ' small' pot holes have been filled further down the road, but the ones on Furzehatt road that cross with Underlane and Goosewell road have not been done. These are VERY large and getting deeper by the day!! It is a major problem for cars and pedestrians. I have just had my car MOTed and had to have something done to it because of all the damage the roads are doing to my car!!! :-(

The road has now been patched, unfortunately they did not re-surface the road which would have been a better solution as this road takes so much traffic that it won't be long before it needs repair again.
