Speed bumps not working

The Heron Hill speed bumps are not working at all to slow traffic down as most cars axles are wider than the lumps on the road. This means drivers (mostly van drivers) just drive over the middle hump and carry on at the same speed as before racing down Heron Hill.Any resolution of the problem would be greatly appreciated.
