When work does take place to replace the vandalised bollards, I would suggest a more substantial type are installed to prevent future "attacks".

Still awaiting attention from Beds Highways/Amey. However, a recent reorganisation at Amey, including staff reductions, may be the reason for the delay in repairs. Central Beds Council (unitary) are also understood to have had a reorganisation too.

Central Beds & their highways contractor Amey should not be taking over 20 weeks to fix this damage! Their response time is extremely poor for repairing a set of black/white bollards. They appear to attach a low priority to other than "A" or "B" class roads under their jurisdiction.
