The Beleaguered Pedestrian

Can we have some double yellows on the mouth of the junction leading to the small 'carpark' on Back Burley Street , close to the Park Lane College building?
I walk this way every morning, and on most days am forced into the road to get past inconsiderately parked vehicles. The significant narrowing of the pavement at the edge of the railway-sleepered planted area doesn't help matters any.
Entering the road at this point is particularly hazardous as it is on a bad bend which acts as a confluence between traffic on Burley Street, Park Lane and Marlborough Street.
The attention of the motorist on this stretch is not on pedestrians in the road, but is instead usually directed to avoiding transit vans randomly pulling away from outside the adjacent shops, whose drivers can be seen juggling newspaper, sausage sandwich, mobile phone, cigarette and steering wheel as they realise they should have got out of bed 15 minutes earlier.
