Damaged kerbstones by bin wagon
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 10:06, Mon 4 March 2013
Sent to Cheshire West and Chester Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 329839.
Approx 2-3 weeks ago the bin wagon reversed up to empty waste bins and the driver mounted the kerb and destroyed our verge by uprooting huge kerbstones which are now a hazard for cars accessing overpool road (no!s 81 - 57) this damage has obviously not been reported by the driver as the kerbstones are still a major hazard.

Disgusting lack of response to this hazard. This damaged kerbing has not been fixed..today, wed 10th April the very same bin wagon could not access our cul de sac to empty our bins as the kerbstones are still jutting out into the access road.

Amazing, no not really, seems that this new and improved council is worse than the last shower when it comes to responding to the publics issues. This has been going on for months, firstly by ignoring initial requests concerning the apparent lack of driving skills by our new and improved waste service. ( 25 years of living here not on ce have the waste wagons destroyed our kerbstones??).. the fact that the driver mounted the kerb 2-3 times saw the damage then didnt report it??? anyway, after weeks and weeks i received an e mail confirming the '' work number had been issued'' so the repair would actually happen..... nothing.
