Nothing's happened. The uncovered steps are very slippery in frosty weather. I hop there are no falls / injuries.

Now a Stage 2 Corporate Complaint LBBD/33964. Please actually replace the tread covers - that they need replacing is known and doesn't need investigating.

Still no change and no response to complaint.

The tread covers still haven't been replaced. I don't know what the complaint investigation is intended to achieve, but I've not had a response anyway.

I refer to your e-mail to our corporate complaints team regarding the missing treads on the footbridge that crosses the railway at Suffolk Road. First of all may I apologize for the time it has taken for someone to respond back to you on your enquiry.

The footbridge is owned and maintained by Network Rail. Our Area Highway inspector has reported the missing treads to John Eccles of Network Rail and the reference number is 2540604. Mr. Eccles also stated that the footbridge is to be replaced in the 2009/10 financial year."

FIVE MONTHS and a stage 2 complaint just to report it Network Rail.
