Rubbish

Reported in the Flytipping category by Helen Sutton at 17:34, Wed 8 October 2008
Sent to Amber Valley Borough Council 1 minute later

We are finding that quite a few people are coming onto our land to throw their rubish down the bank on to the greenway. Whilst we make an effort to remove it, I have noticed this evening that a pallet has been thrown down there along with the packaging. I am 6 months pregnant and cannot remove the rubbish, I am also concerned for people walking along the greenway as this may fall on them. We also reported that when Alma Street was tarmaced the left over tarmac was also thrown down there along with the safety cones (after we had requested them to remove it from our driveway), this has been there for at least 9 months despite telephoning Amber Valley council complaining.

We had a telephone call from Amber Valley Council saying that they would come and see us but didn't turn up.
