I was at the corner of Basil and Hans when I noticed a truck dump a kitchen sink and what appeared to be plumbing pipes.

Although I do not live in the area and not even an UK resident, I took great offense because my middle name is Basil and the thought that somebody would dump such rubbish on a street with my name seemed rather personal.

However, being an American that lives in Houston, Texas, I find it deplorable (according to the Telegraph) that you have enlisted children to spy on people who may be violating your "fly-tipping" law. When taken into consideration with the fact that your government has surveillance cameras all over London and the UK, you have as a people become the Orwellian nightmare.

Obviously you Brits do not read enough to understand the implications of the above; similar to trying to explain to people in the dystopian film "Idiocracy" as to why plants require water to grow.
