Graffiti & Rubbish in Park

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 11:27, Mon 25 August 2008
Sent to Charnwood Borough Council 2 minutes later

I have previously reported the graffiti on the stone which holds the plaque to Keith Stapleford in front of the tree on top of the hill in Stapleford Park. Nothing has been done about it.

Also in the Park, at the bottom of the hill, is rubbish strewn about. I think this is left by people who occasionally camp there, but could also be youngsters or possibly druggies.

The Council were very quick to put the graffiti problem right, but they didn't address the rubbish problem.

Sorry I should have a photo of it but haven't.
