Manhole covers

Dear Sir, since the up grade to the sewage system in this area there are now manhole covers on what is the normal line a motocyclist would take. The winter is not far away and these are going to be slippery. Is there a move to replace these with the non slip type as manufactured by Saint Gobain which have been trialled for the last two years by Bristol Council? When are the road markings going to be re painted?

The problem I highlighted was one that applies to motorcyclists in particular. I provided information on non slip manhole covers as being trielled by Bristol council hoping that the council would liase with them and perhap[s consider adopting these units. Regards DLW
