Accident waiting to happen

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 17:31, Wed 13 August 2008
Sent to Dudley Borough Council 4 minutes later

Half way down Colman Hill Avenue the road forks off to another higher point of the street. At this junction there are no road markings going either way therefore traffic going straight down the street continues and so does the traffic coming down the hill. Surely road markings wouldn't hurt to prevent any future accidents.

Problem still persisits and no contact received from the Council to give their opinion on the dangerous road junction

I agree, this part of the road is getting very dangerous. I understand that there have been several near misses becuase people coming down the hill do not look before they turn into the road. I myself have had to do several emergency stops because of this junction. All it will take is few lines to be put down by the council so people can see who has the right of way.

Still no contact from the Council?! Not even a courtesy email to let me know they received my suggestion. Very bad, everyday I have someone nearly go in to the side of me. Please can some lines be put down or even tell me if thats not possible?
