Disposal of/hygiene for children
Reported in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 15:38, Wed 13 August 2008
Sent to Shepway District Council 1 minute later
The green is used several times a day by local people to allow their dogs to foul. Most people pick the droppings up and take the bag home; one or two deposit the filled bags either on my front garden or throw them over the fence.
The green is also used regularly by local children to play ball.
These two activities pose a potential health risk to the children.
I would like to think that the Council will raise this issue at a future meeting and consider placing a 'dog litter bin' on the green and discuss the health issue for the children.
