Inconsiderate parking

Parking is out of hand as people have total disregard for double yellows and they are rarely enforced anyway.There are cars currently double parked on pavements all the way up sandy road.IT's dangerous for children,and would be impossible to pass in anything larger than a transit.Informing the police has resluted in little or no action in the past.As it's the first real day of saummer,i can see residents taking matters into their own hands.As far as i can see,this will be the only way to stop the problem.
