Sent to West Sussex County Council and Crawley Borough Council 5 minutes later
No 7 Dyson Walk has had scaffolding erected at the front of the property for approx 3 months although no-one appears to be doing any work on the outside of the property. The garden is extremely unkempt as well.I would appreciate an explanation as to when the scaffolding is expected to be removed.

The scaffolding is still there. It has been up for 5 months now. Julie Westerby, maintenance surveyor with Crawley Borough Council e-mailed me on 15th May to advise 'we are undertaking negotiations re repair of porch roof and hope they will be concluded shortly.'I wonder how much they have had to pay to the contractors for the hire of the scaffolding all this time! The problem remains!!
Nothing has changed. The scaffolding has not been touched and no work has been done on the property. It has been there for 6 months now!!
A very small part of the scaffolding has been removed but the whole site still remains a complete mess!
Two weeks ago, the porch roof was finally repaired. The workmen were there for about 4 hours.A job that has taken 8 months to sort out!!. A few days later the scaffolding was finally removed. It just remains for the council or their tenant to clear the seriously overgrown garden.I won't be holding my breath!!
