Drivers do not give way to oncoming traffic as required when driving south along Waterside. There are many occurences of drivers swearing at oncoming cars who have right of way. Cyclists are put in danger and forced onto the pavement, often by cars travelling at high speed. The pavement and road are in appalling condition.

The road should be made one-way from the bridge to the roundabout and a suitable cycle path installed. The road from Moor Lane could then be made two-way to ease residents' access, while ensuring large vehicles can access the small industrial estate behind the Post Office.
