Yellow Line Parking

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 10:13, Wed 2 July 2008
Sent to Blackpool Borough Council 1 day, 8 hours, 13 minutes later

There are two drivers that park on the double yellow line regularly, almost daily for up to 8 hours a day, sometimes overnight making it difficult to pass especially when there are cars on the opposite end of the street. This is just outside of Walter Robinson Day center. There are also two council ford fiesta's that park on the "Emmergency vehicle's only parking" space over the weekend.

this problem is still ongoing, however the blackpool council cars are not a problem they are emergency response vehicles for the vitaline service. its the two vehicles parked on yellow this prevents fire and resuce services getting down the road quickly sometimes, POLICE appear to know about the problem

No change to this problem. The car is still being left on the double yellow line making it difficult for the Fire Service and Refuse trucks to get access to the end of the road. Surely a Traffic Ticket would easily solve this problem!

No change nearly a year later. If this was near the town center it wouldn't have even been parked there for 10 minutes before being given a ticket.

No change at all, they might as well paint over the double yellow lines because they mean nothing.

This problem is now resolved, one occupant has passed away, and the other been evicted.

End of matter hopefully.
