Broken/uneven surface in unlit area

The surface of the footpath (jitty) between Weathercock Lane and Station Road is degraded along much of its length and in places is broken across its whole width. This has been a significant hazard for at least 3 years - I have myself stumbled several times (usually in winter when it's dark)

No progress - although some white spray paint has appeared on the main Weathercock Lane footpath on the school side of the road. (I think it's a pity that you'll not be forwarding the update to the council)

The broken surface is now larger with several "plates" of tarmac (about hand-size) lying loose.
