Street Light

Reported in the Street lighting category by East Brunswick Residents' Association at 14:04, Tue 17 June 2008
Sent to Brighton & Hove Council 2 weeks, 6 days, 2 hours, 38 minutes later

This is the only street light in Little Western Street Hove. 5 New houses have been built adjacent to it. It is lit during the daytime and is angled to fall over. A strong wind or person could topple it easily.

Still lit for 4 months reported to council again

Posted by East Brunswick Residents' Association at 20:24, Sat 30 May 2009

The lamp has at last been replaced and is no longer lit 24/7. HOWEVER it was installed leaning even further than the old lamp. Requests to refit have been accepted but only after protracted discussions with Brighton & Hove City Council. I am told it will be fixed asap. To date it is not fixed.
