Large surface damage on New Road

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 22:57, Sun 15 June 2008

It appears that the initial damage to the road surface has been exacerbated by heavily loaded lorries entering and leaving Sandy Quarry. Originally it was quite a small pothole, I think it's growing, so swift action would be appreciated. It has also started to fragment, which would mean broken windscreens or other vehicular damage if not dealt with soon. Many Thanks
