Dear concerned residents

Thank you for your email.

I have passed the details of your report of a broken Bollard on Sunnyhill Road to our Transport and Highways engineers. They will now visit the site to assess the situation and take any action necessary. Your reference is 6602288.

Please note after an engineer has inspected a dangerous defect and made an assessment of it, we will respond by either carrying out a repair or by guarding and signing the defect until a repair can be made. Our response times are as follows:

• within two hours if the engineer considers it to be an emergency, for example, if a manhole cover is missing • within 24 hours if the engineer considers the problem to be urgent, for example, a lamp post that is leaning over, but is not in danger of collapse • within three days if the engineer considers the problem to be a priority, for example, a deep pothole.

Any damage that does not fall in to the above categories is responded to within 28 working days

Thank you for reporting this matter to us. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail or on 020 7926 9000.

Regards
