Trash dumped in river

I notice eveyr time I walk by this large river there is continually a load of trash dumped in the river on the south side. I am very concerned of how much more there much be sitting at the bottom of the river, like plastic bags and bike tires. May we have this river totally cleaned up in one big operation? Thank you - I'm sure the ducks will also appreciate it.
