Speeding lorries

Reported by Nicholas Winser at 11:53, Sat 10 May 2008
Sent to Norfolk County Council and Breckland District Council 1 minute later

This is getting ridiculously dangerous! There are people plus young children living on this road, but lorries still keep charging up and down this road at 50mph+! Can they slow down or be given a more main route like via Shipham or Dereham to the factory at the top of the road? Someone is going to get killed soon. Have spoken to lorry companies where possible - they don't bother helping...

Nothing whatsoever has been done to solve or ease this situation. No replies have been made to the request for council action. I was informed by electricity men today nearby it is an accident waiting to occur that big lorries charging down this small bendy country road will inevitably catch a power cable next the road.
