Some of the potholes in the first 50 years have been highlighted. There are quite a few potholes in the next 50 yards or so of Headingley Road together with a badly sunken utility trench that have not been highlighted.

No further progress has been made since many of the potholes were marked in the first 50 yards during early October. A couple of arrows showing the extent of the first 50 yards of damaged road surface may have appeared since then.

I brought this particular pothole outside 20 Headingley Road to the attention of our local Councillor and copied it to the KCC Highways District Manager a week before Christmas saying it was in need of immediate attention. Nothing has been done.

The potholes and much of the sunken utility trench were filled on 16th January 2012. It is hoped that the road will be resurfaced in the Spring.
