Paving slabs loose & missing
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 08:36, Sun 21 August 2011
Sent to Newcastle upon Tyne City Council 3 minutes later
This problem was been reported to a local Labour councillor several weeks ago who promised to have it resolved. The pavement is a hazard to pedestrians and should be fixed immediately before someone has an accident and maybe also makes a claim for damages from the council. The councils 'Pavement Inspector' visited the spot over a month ago and promised to have the pavement re-laid but I have been unable to get in touch with him directly, leaving messages has had no effect.

Updates
No one representing the council has contacted me directly, but a couple of council workers arrived one day to fill in the gaps. I'm happy to say that they made an excellent job of the work that they did. but I am dissapointed with the councils lack of response and their poor show of public relations with what I would consider to be a good resident
