AT the top of attlee close there are trees planted that are just plain disgusting.they are nothing but a rubbish tip.I tried to walk my dog there one day he ended up tangled in brambles, with a cut paw from god knows what. The place is just rotten its covered in broken glass, washing machines, old tv's, beds cookers, car and motorcycle parts, household waste, gas bottles, old fencing etc the list just go's on.Why these trees were ever planted in the first place is beyond me.Before they were planted there was open space on the estate for people to walk and a place for children to play. Not all children live near the very good play facillity's that are behind attlee way. These trees have atracted no more wildlife to cefn golau than was here before in fact in the winter when the trees are bare it can be seen there are not any birds nests in them at all. Also the wire fencing is a great problem when there are cows wandering the estate they sometimes get trapped in the wire of the fences. Now i know they have no buisness being on the estate but when people leave the gates open on the mountains and the fences are being ripped down by boy's to take their scrambler bikes on the mountain then the cowes are going to come down theres no reason why they should suffer injuries from the fencing and rubbish. One last point when a child goes and play's on the banking and behind the garrages (which they do)before these trees were planted those children could be seen from the houses in attlee close, walter conway and gainbrough rd.Now when they play there they are hidden from view which in this day and age i think is a dangerous situation in light of the tragic things that go on these days.
