Since January of this year tipping has been taking place at the location shown on the map. The waste appears to be building matter and includes some plaster products, plastics and animal bones. my major concern is that the plaster products may not have been tested for asbestos content. the animal bones are like a magnet to my dogs, encouraging them to stray from my property. I observed the dumping taking place during works undertaken to a property in Clawddnewydd village. I think I know who is responsible but do not know their name or address.

I previously reported an abandoned vehicle which the council had removed the next day having apparently traced the owner to his home in Ruthin. Two members of the Council visited the site of the "fly tipping" incident but no further action seems to have been taken and none has been advised. Photographs were taken of the dumping site and there was some discussion about the possibility of asbestos being present, however, I am not aware of any samples being taken for testing. Some of the animal bones reported, remain at the site.

I expressed concerns about the possible presence of asbestos within the discarded building materials. I find it upsetting that these concerns have not been taken seriously and that seemingly, no steps have been taken to investigate this possibility. Since a site visit by two members of the Council, the tip has multiplied at least fourfold.
