Waste bin raids

A waste bin belonging to the Woodside Charity Shop 71 Wolseley Road has a waste bin that should be locked in the lane to the rear of the premises. This bin is regularly raided by persons looking for items to sell or as I was told "toys for my children". Following these raids rubbish is left in the lane for the residents to clear up. This occurs when the shop is closed especially on late Saturday afternoon. This bin either needs to be better secured to prevent opening by unauthorized persons or stored away from the lane. The current turn latch is of a common type and easily opened with a meter box key.

Usual with this council. Not interested in many issues that effect the general population.

No change.
I do not expect anything to change as it is not on Plymouth City council's agenda to bother with the peasants of the city who pay their council tax. How, as peasants can we expect the lords of the city to bother with us when they have football matches to attend on the other side of the world using our moneyPosted anonymously at 11:37, Tue 20 September 2011

The waste bin in questio0n was destroyed by fire in the early hours of the morning on Sunday 6th Nov. We enjoyed looking at this burnt bin until the Thursday when it was replaced. Upon inspection it beggeredbelief that the key to open thie new bin was still attached to the bin lid over an hour after the bin was left. I have no idea if Woodside has that key or someone else. It is clear that Woodside has little respect for our community.
