Low-lying Tree Branches

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 19:24, Mon 2 May 2011
Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

Along the length of the public cycle/pathway that runs between Oxford Road and Boulter Drive, in North Abingdon, there are tree branches that now hang down lower than cyclist's heads/bodies. Could they be cut back please. Thank you

  • The whole pathway was cleared of intruding bushes and most of the overhanging tree branches. However, two tree branches still hang over the cycle path below cyclist's head-height. I thank Oxfordshire County Council for clearing the path, it was becoming very overgrown, somthing I did not realise the extent of until they cut it back. Thank you
