Recently the contractor Skanska has bee doing work at the foot of Roundshead Drivew. The dropped kerb on the south side has been left about 2cm above the road surface, providing an unpleasant jolt for any user of as mobility scooter having to use it. Some scooters may not be able to get up the bump.

No response at all. I would have expected the Council to chase Skanska (who are doing lots of work locally) to fix this quickly.

Forgive the typos in my original, but the import was clear. Skanska are still working in the area, but nothing has been done and I have not been contacted by the Council.

Still no response from the Council or Skanska, despite a promise by Cllr Mc Cracken to raise the matter.

Thanks to Cllr McCracken, the problem was finally raised with Skanska by the Council, and action has been forthcoming. The works were marked and seemed to be in train whan I walked past today (28th), but I have not been back to inspect. I hope this is now resolved.

Thanks to the intervention of Cllr. McCracken, the problem was raised with Skanska and has been (speedily) rectified
