Reported in the Flytipping category by Mrs philips at 20:05, Thu 28 February 2008
Sent to Lancaster City Council 4 minutes later

Vacant land that sits between the end of Meadow Street, LA1 5PH and West Road. The Council allowed the stone boundary wall to be removed some time ago and now it has attracted flytipping. The Council need to clear this land of rubbish as it is an eye sore and a boundary erected. This is an area of Lancaster in the shadow of the Castle which needs to be improved, the Council have neglected this neighbourhood for too long.

Thankyou for your help. The site was cleared of rubbish within a few days, it was a lot tidier and not such an eye sore. However, the problem will continue while the site is unfenced and unfortunately people have started to dump rubbish again and I expect the Council will need another reminder to tidy up the area.
