Accumulated Street Litter

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 17:09, Sun 17 February 2008
Sent to Clackmannanshire Council 5 minutes later

There is an abundance of litter accumulating on the side of the footpath and caught in the shrubs in this area - paper and newspapers, bottles, MacDonalds cartons, plastic bags, etc. all the way along Alloa Parkway down to the Robertsons showhomes, as well as debris collecting in the road gutter right outside the scrap yard by the main road. Please could you ask your street sweepers to collect the rubbish and sweep the road there? Many thanks.

Many thanks for bringing this matter to our attention. I have asked Street Cleansing to have a look at the area and to establish if the shrub bed is in our ownership. If the shrub bed does not belong to Clackmannanshire Council we will endevour to find the owner and ask them to maintain the area asap. The street and footpath will also be swept as soon as possible.
