Large Pothole

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later

A wide and deep pothole located opposite the Total Garage, between the Crown PH and the Village Green. Also, severe damage to the road on the junction opposite The Avenue, leading up to Houghton Hall.

  • Have seen some council workers this morning, inspecting the road at the top of Houghton Hall's junction by The Green.

  • The hole outside the crown has been fixed, although there is another developing close by. I noticed today that, although the damage on the road approaching Houghton Hall was also fixed, the road surface is becoming damaged again. This is after all, a very busy junction, and perhaps the tarmac should have been allowed to cure properly before allowing vehicle access again. I think in a few weeks time, this may have to be re-reported.
