Rat Problem being ignored by the Council

Sent to Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council less than a minute later
I complainted last week about a rat problem in the area and via Fix My Street I received an email from the Council telling me that I could expecting a reply from the Council 'within 1 working day' But the Council have not respended. We have just killed another rat - the 2nd this week - we need assistance urgently which the Council seems to be ignoring as other people in the area have contacted the Council as well over the last few weeks and again ignored.

The Council did contact me to tell me that they were sorting out the problem but they were not aware of complaints by Residents in the area - strange as more Residents I have spoken to have assured me that that they too had rung to complain about this problem over the last few months. I hope the rat problem is sorted. It seem s that without contacting 'Fix My Street' nothing would have been done - thank you
