Dangerous Stray Cat

Sent to Trafford Borough Council 5 minutes later

There is a black and white cat on the street, seemingly without a home and certainly with no collar. It has been coming into houses, stealing food and spraying inside. This has been going on for several months now.

Also, recently it bit somebody and hospitalised them with an infection. It was a very savage bite and the cat could easily disfigure a small child for life. It is also constantly fighting with other pet cats on the street.

I emailed the council directly. I was advised that no facilities exist to take a cat away in the way that they would take a dog away. I was offered the loan of a trap and a neutering voucher. I have since moved out of that house.
