There are no road markings on the B3330 between Garfield Road and Newport Street in Ryde High St. This road is closed to traffic other than on Sundays and Bank Holidays however on these days cars are permitted to drive along and park in this pedestrianised area regardless of half the shops being open for business and the area being busy with pedestrians. Cars park all along the road often leaving little room for pedestrians to pass along the unmarked pavements. Children run out between parked cars into the path of oncoming vehicles. This area is designed as a pedestrianised area and the current situation is danger to the public
