A Fly tipped mattress is left by the gates there. Sad addition when people are trying hard to get this area upgraded

The fly tipping was removed but a few days later a bed frame was left nearby.
Broomwood Partnership and Trafford Housing Trust undertook a walkabout over some of the land and has noted a number of problems.
However cutbacks are going to an issue, perhaps The Big Society will fund solutions to solve such problem areas, we hope to that the Airport may see fit to assist and help fund remedial works in the area and inter alia enhance security and visual serveillence within this potentially very useful and beautiful tract of land which was used in the past for patients of a hospital recovering after TB treatments etc.
The land is a valuable recreational resource and just needs a little work to restore it.
