Cycle lanes

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Peter Brunning at 00:58, Mon 23 August 2010
Sent to Cambridgeshire County Council 1 minute later

Cycle lanes have been left in an almost unusable state after surface dressing of the main carriageway. They are narrow and at a lower level and filled with loose grit. They need the same or better level of maintenance as the road!

Lines marking the cycles lanes have been repainted but the road surface is still dreadful in places. A very shoddy job, especially for a cycling demonstration city.

Only a slight improvement. White lines have been replaced but the road surface, especially by Robinson College, is still very poor.
