Speeding / failing to stop

On this stretch of road the cars travel far too fast. on several occasions I have crossed the road when the pedestrian crossing has changed yet cars have and bikes have nearly knocked me down as they do not stop.

Part of the reason for the speed of the vehcles is that they have slowed down at the previous corner due to the speed camer. Once past it they then just put their foot down and spped up this junction and crossing are becoming lethal.
