Edging bricks removed

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 15:27, Tue 17 August 2010
Sent to Stoke-on-Trent City Council 2 minutes later

Edging bricks surrounding the Pendulum swing's soft surface on the Bankeyfields Park have had the cement removed with a sharp implement (signs of gouging on the soft surface as well)

Once the edging has been removed, the youths will no doubt start to lift the soft surface.

A Better Image to illustrate the problem

Posted by Matt Burke at 10:44, Wed 1 September 2010

Bricks have now been removed, as no action was taken, making it easy for a child pushing the swing to turn and trip up, landing on the hardened surface.

In fact I've seen it happen. Not very good for SOTCC's safety record in parks.

This problem is know getting worse, every few days even more bricks are removed as it is now easier to remove them.
