Speeding vehicles

Sent to Birmingham City Council 2 minutes later
As an aside to my previous complaint, there is another problem along Butlers Rd. It runs parallel to Handsworth Wood Rd, and as such is used on a daily basis by motorists as a high speed shortcut. I have had vehicles thundering towards me on the wrong side of the road as they pull out to speed past parked vehicles, and the gent in the house on Worlds End Rd, opposite Butlers Rd is forever having his garden wall rebuilt due to cars that have come to an abrupt halt in it. A neighbours cat was sent flying through the air and cut in half last year - how long before this happens to one of the children from the school? How can we get speed ramps fitted along here?

Updates
The area engineer replied about this matter stating that they could not install ramps as there had been no fatalities. Isnt prevention better than cure?
In the time between writing via fixmystreet and getting a reply, 2 more accidents had occured resulting in the road being closed for hours.
