Unfortunately I gave the wrong location on the map in Union Street, it should have been about 30 metres east of Great Suffolk Street not Blackfriars Road. Because of the wrong location being given Southwark Council claim that the speed cushion is the responsibility of TFL and therefore have done nothing. I tried to leave the corrected location with you but was unable to do so.So the badly damaged speed cushion in Union Street, SE1, approximately 30 metres east of Great Suffolk Street remainss badly damaged. I would appreciate it if you could pursue this matter once again. Regards, David Smith
Unfortunately I seem to have marked on the map a position which was not correct. The right position was approximately 25metres east of Great Suffolk Street on Union Street. The London borough of Southwark chose to mis-read the original indicator as Blackfriars Road and therefore washed their hands of it claiming that as it was on a main road it was a problem for Transport for London Ignoring the fact that speed cushions are not placed on A roads. The original problem still exists.
