Persistent Dog Mess
Reported in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 18:23, Fri 30 July 2010
Sent to Norwich City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 127020.
The stretch of City Road between Harford Street and Hospital Lane has about 10 or so examples of this problem.
Its becoming a bit of a chronic situation (not to mention a health one too).

I reiterate statement by Keith Bond the constant dog fouling is disgusting along City road between Harford street and Hospital lane can we not have a stencil along path asking the owners to BAG IT AND BIN IT a couple of bins would be helpful also

I checked this morning and the situation appeared much improved.
There was only 1 (large) deposit - the main culprit seems to have a large dog.
I'm not sure that the problem has been fixed though (I'm not even sure how you can 'fix' this issue without 24 hour surveillance cameras)Posted anonymously at 14:26, Sat 28 August 2010

It is definately improved since only 1 deposit has been noticed recently (though another,on Harford Street itself, was cleared up by me ).
Can you tell me what actions have been put in place to reduce this problem?
Until I know what they are I find it difficult to be confident that the problem has been resolved.Posted anonymously at 23:14, Fri 8 October 2010

Im sick of all the mess not just in my street Marlpit lane (including outside the local 1st school) but in this not so Fine city.As the council wont put signs or bins in they should then get off thier butts and start issueing fines and hit owners where it hurts! We have traffic wardens dishing out fines for car owners so the dog wardens surely can get out there and do the same!! not to mention the health issue ,disgusting owners.
