Dangerous parking on zig zag zone

Despite being a pedestrian zig-zag zone, this area of the High Street has continual parking on the zig-zags. Due to lack of effective enforcement and poor road planning the problem is horrendous during peak times. The problem is further compounded with delivery trucks loading and unloading, both on the zig-zags and also in the 2 disabled parking bays, in this position which the delivery drivers treat as a loading bay. The council need to resolve this area of the High Street, provide permanent loading bays and appoint an effective traffic warden or two who enforce ticketing rigorously, 6 days a week. There needs to be much more visible road signage too, there are far too many non blue-badge vehicles parking in the disabled bays which pushes disabled drivers to park on the zig-zags, making this section of the High Street dangerous.
