Uneven footpath and sunken kerbstones

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 09:49, Thu 29 July 2010
Sent to Stockport Borough Council less than a minute later

The pavements along this bend on meadway from No's 38-32 are very uneven, and therefore unsafe. The kerbs have dropped due to this part of the road sinking in turn due to heavy lorrys and poorly repaired utility trenches.(this makes all our houses shake!)Some kerbs are broken making stepping up them dangerous.I myself have tripped twice, wheelchair users in the immediate vicinity are struggling with the sloping paths especially where kerbs have given way, this has been reported before to no avail!Your prompt response would be much appreciated, thankyou.

They sent a job number and said someone would be out to check the problem curbs but no one appears to have been and I have heard nothing back. This is the second time in two years that the problem has been reported by myself. To no avail.
