Massive
Reported in the Potholes category by Donald McInnes at 13:34, Wed 28 July 2010
Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later
Bottom of the hill approaching Corkerhill Railway Station from Cardonald College.
OK This is extremely serious. I was taking my grandchildren home when this occurred. This massive pothole has caused me to replace a burst tyre and to call out the AA to assist me in the process because of the severity of the damage.
There has been work done on this part of the road before however it would appear that this was not satisfactory and the hole is getting larger and larger. I did not have time to take a photograph of it as I was more interested in my Grandchildren's safety.
I will supply a photograph of the burst tyre to let you see for yourself the extent of the damage at a later date.

Updates
This incident occurred at approximately 6.30 pm on 27 July 2010
As I said earlier here is a photo of the damage caused by the council's incapacity to deal with the deterioration of it's road surfaces. I hold them personally responsible for this and will be seeking legal advice.
Well the good news is that this has been repaired. Not just a partial repair but completely resurfaced. Totally neded.
This particular problem surprisingly has been dealt with.
The pothole has been totally resurfaced, probably not all down to my complaint.
this has certainley not been reoaired properly. The same problem has re-occured to the extent that a cone is sitting in the hole and another hole has appeared beside it.
If the last annonymous person had looked at the date that I posted that the pothole had been repaired, they would have seen that it was 30 August 2010, that is AUGUST 2010. Yes it has appeared again not one but several holes in exactly the same place. Surprisingly they have been filled in but I would suggest that this is a stop gap. As I reported the original I feel it only right that I report this new yes new massive pothole.
