Trucks speeding along Walton Lane

As you may be aware, a pedestrian was struck by a truck on Walton Lane saturday afternoon. This was an inevitability as these trucks and lorries often break the speed limit on this stretch of road. This is especially frightening when you see children walking along this road when going to and from school. I often see debris at the side of the road that has fallen from trucks not covered properly. This isn't just paper or light materials but heavy scrap metal. This won't be the last incident involving a truck unless something is done.
